Hello! I am Pastor Holger Lundin, and I am serving as transitional pastor at Christ the King Lutheran Church while the congregation goes through its time of self-study, and in time calls a full-time minister.

I retired from full-time congregational ministry in December 2002 after serving thirty-five years in three churches in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and in Connecticut. I am originally from West Hartford and am the son of a Swedish immigrant family, and also a son of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hartford. I am a Bachelor of Divinity graduate of the Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, and graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Francisco, California. While serving as pastor in the congregations, I developed a strong interest in Christian education and learning and teaching the truths of the faith. I also was an active member of the Board of Directors of the Lutheran Home in Southbury, CT.

Since moving to Wethersfield after retiring from congregational ministry, I and my wife, Judy, have become active in the Seniornet of Wethersfield Computer Learning Center at the Senior Center on Greenfield Street. I was elected to serve as its Chairman for four years and both of us have been teachers and coaches in computer skills classes for seniors there. I am president of the Half-Century Club of Connecticut, a Scandinavian-American association in the Greater Hartford community dedicated to preserving and carrying forward Scandinavian-American traditions

I am honored and happy to serve as the transitional pastor at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Windsor. It is a dedicated and friendly group of Christian people who are loyal to their church and to their Christ. They are sincerely conscientious in carrying forth the Christian ministry which has been placed in their care as the men and women, and boys and girls, of the Christ the King congregation. I am pleased to be their pastor and hope that you will consider joining us as members of the Family of God in the Windsor community. Thank you.
